We All Might Get Seamless Mobile Connectivity On The Delhi Metro From November 2018

One thing that annoys us about the Delhi Metro is that the moment you enter the metro, puff goes the phone signal! And if you don’t have a book, some good music or the company of your pals to keep you engaged, metro rides can become really boring! Relatable much? But hey, don’t look so despondent, as we’ve got you some good news!

Here’s What’s Happening | The DMRC has said that in the coming months, the mobile network on the Delhi Metro is likely to improve, so all you metro travellers can now heave a sigh of relief! You’re likely to reap the benefits of full mobile connectivity from November guys! Good news? Hell yeah!

As you all know, the network problem is generally a menace if you’re travelling on the underground metros like the ones plying on some sections of the Yellow Line and Airport Line. The ITO Metro Station and sections of the Violet Line which did not have network access earlier, might now get full mobile connectivity and that is great news. The mobile network was also improved on some sections of the Pink and Magenta Lines. And now, the DMRC has started work on boosting signal strength on Pink Line’s Bhikaji Cama - Lajpat Nagar section and Magenta Line’s Kalkaji Mandir-Janakpuri West section.

So here’s hoping that we’ll soon get seamless mobile connectivity on all our metro rides! Thanks a ton, DMRC!
