How can your be selfish just to cheer your friend u wanna rent animal. If your friend is really a dog lover , cat lover or any animal lover gift her .

It's quite selfish & inhumane to do so. I would rather recommend you go to charitable hospital like Maneka Gandhi if in Delhi to spend some time with cats and other animals. Also, to get a reality check on the sufferings of the animals. As a birthday tradition donate a bit for food and care. It will cheer up your friend more if he/she is really an animal lover.
