The Upcoming RRTS May Have Interchanges In GZB With Easy Access To Metro, State Buses & More

Hey Delhizens, remember we previously told you about the rapid rail that is soon gonna make life so much easier for us with its unimaginable speed and cool features? Yeah? Well, there’re some updates on it, which we felt you guys, especially Ghaziabad dwellers, should defo know about. Scroll on!

Here’s What’s Happening | Ghaziabad wasis, here’s some really good news for you all. The RRTS has swooped in as your guardian angel and will make travelling a mere cakewalk for all you lovelies very soon. How, you ask? Well, the rapid rail might have interchanges in Ghaziabad and may provide integration with different modes of transport like the metro, buses, trains and more!

So you guys will find interchanges at Anand Vihar, where the RRTS will connect you to the state buses and also in places like Sahibabad. An entry-exit might also be developed at Kaushambi’s UP roadways bus stand. There might also be an interchange at the Meerut crossing near GT Road, where the RRTS will be integrated with our dear metro.

After this, the rapid rail will move towards the Delhi-Meerut highway, towards Meerut. Officials have said that another interchange is gonna come up at New Ashok Nagar in Delhi which will ease commuting for people coming from Noida and East Delhi.

The Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS route has 24 stations and it will ply at a speed of 160 kmph. It is expected to benefit 7.4 lakh daily passengers, which sounds absolutely great. And the best part - you’ll reach Meerut from Delhi in 55 minutes ONLY!
