Guys! Did you know that our city’s soon gonna get a new greener look soon? If you’re curious about how it’s gonna happen, then read on for all them deets!

Greening It Up! | After having targeted flyovers like Lajpat Nagar, Nehru Place, Sarai Kale Khan and more for creating lush green vertical gardens, the North and South Delhi Municipal Corporation is looking to install these at various schools, markets, municipal offices and buildings of historical importance as well. Yayy!

So the municipal agency is going to install these vertical gardens at 207 primary schools, 60 roads, 26 markets, five historical sites and two flyovers in the next three months. So yeah, the city’s up for a huge makeover!

Work has already begun at places like the vacant space between Rani Jhansi flyover, Azad Market crossing and various school buildings. The idea behind installing these vertical gardens is to curb pollution which has become a menace in the capital.

Well, we’re really excited to see our city all green-ed up and we applaud this move!
