Delhiwallo, make sure you pay attention to the new green vertical gardens that are soon gonna pop up under selective flyovers in South Delhi *NAICE!*

Whats Happening? | A number of South Delhi flyovers are all set to get a fresh look and go green as the SDMC is planning to install several vertical gardens under the flyovers over the next four months. *YAY*! Can you imagine how beautiful our flyovers are gonna look after this makeover?!

The idea behind these unique and beautiful vertical gardens is to add beauty to the flyovers and tackle the uncontrollable pollution that has been threatening the capital city for quite sometime now.

For the first phase of the project, the SDMC has shortlisted a total of 11 flyovers which are to get a makeover, some of which include Savitri, Lajpat Nagar, Andrews Ganj, Nehru Place and Kalkaji amongst others. Work has already started at the Savitri flyover. Ferns, ribbon grass, blade grass and ficus species amongst many other varieties of plants are being set up under these flyovers.

Meanwhile, we cannot wait for the work to be finished so that we can drive down to these flyovers for a beautiful, green view - ah, perfect!
