Board Delhi Metro’s Spl. Freedom Express That Has Pictures Of Gandhi, Bhagat Singh & More

Did we ever tell you that our dearest Delhi Metro is full of surprises? We did, right? And here’s another surprise that the Delhi Metro has planned for you this Independence Day. take a look!

Not All Heroes Wear Capes | This year, Delhi Metro is planning to celebrate India’s freedom fighters who are the reason we are an independent nation today. So these people have started a special train dedicated to these heroes, which will be adorned with their photos and other icons of India, for a period of two months. 

The idea is to spread the message of patriotism throughout the country. This special Freedom Express will run between Samaypur Badli and HUDA City Centre on Delhi Metro’s Yellow Line. The Union Minister recently flagged this train off with a special message on a panel of the train. 

So as you board the train, you’ll find pictures many people who’ve made a significant contribution to the nation, like, Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose, BR Ambedkar, APJ Abdul Kalam and others.
