The Blind School Diwali Mela is one of our fave Diwali melas, and we absolutely love going here every single year without fail. The best part about this festival is that you get everything from diyas to chocolates and embroidered bags and pouches under one roof. You can also score handicraft items, designer wear and pretty home decor items, so make sure you stop by with the fam!

5. Haunted Talks @ Taksim (11th November)
If you’re a fan of horror movies, and Insidious is literally on your binge-watching list, then this event is tailor-made for you. Jay Alani, a paranormal investigator who has taken up over 110 cases and investigated over 40 haunted locations across India (a desi version of Ghostbusters, basically) is coming to Delhi to share his spine-chilling experiences. 6. Urban Lens Film Festival 2018 @ Max Mueller Bhavan (16th - 18th November)
Urban Lens Film Festival is back with their 5th edition and will reflect on the histories and complexities of South Asian, Latin American and African countries. The festival aims to bring together all these films based on the stories of urbanisation in these countries. They’ll be screening films from various genres such as fiction, non-fiction, animation and experimental films. The audience can also be a part of the post-screening discussions with the director to understand and discuss further about urbanisation!

And this one’s a shoutout to all the bhukkads in town! Horn OK Please, Delhi’s Happiest Food Festival is almost here and we’re itching to try all those scrummy dishes there. 9. 7th Jashn E Adab Poetry Festival 2018 @ IGNCA (23rd - 25th November)

Jashn-E-Adab, in association with Ministry of Culture, IGNCA and Hamdard University are hosting the second phase of the 7th poetry festival 2018 to promote art, culture and literature through panel discussions, classical & Sufi singing, ghazal performances, classical Sufi dance, qawwali, mushaira and kavi sammelan, youth mushaira, khawateen ka mushaira, plays, bait-bazi, dastangoi, book releases and exhibitions. They’ll also have a food court that’ll be serving 'Zaiqa Hindustan ka' and loads more!
