If you live and breathe fashion and are drawn to luxury fashion brands, then this one is just for you all. Paris’s iconic department store Galeries Lafayette is all set to open stores in Mumbai and Delhi and here’s everything you need to know. 

India Welcomes Galeries Lafayette | Galeries Lafayette is a Paris-based 125-year-old luxury departmental store that boasts hundreds of luxe brands under one roof along with an experiential bar and restaurant. Over the years it has grown to become Europe’s biggest departmental store chain, with over 290 stores worldwide, and now, they are all set to set their feet in India with two exquisite stores in Delhi and Mumbai in partnership with Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. 

The Mumbai flagship store is expected to be opened by 2024 in the Fort Precinct area and the Delhi flagship store by 2025 next to DLF Emprorio. The stores will comprise over 200 luxury and designer brands all under one roof including international global brands like Fred Perry, Ralph Lauren, Hackett London, Simon Carter, Ted Baker, American Eagle, Reebok, Forever 21, and more. Along with it, a wide array of Indian designer brands like Sabyasachi, Tarun Tahiliani, and others are also expected to be a part of these flagship stores. How amazing is this?
