Tomb Of Safdarjung is one of the many historical gems in the city that offers one an insight into the lives of the royals that once ruled the city. The monument was built in the year 1754 for Safdarjung who was the Governor of Oudh (Awadh) and later went on to become a Prime Minister to the Mughal Emperor Muhammad Shah. And this monument seems like an excellent place to take a morning stroll, here’s why we feel so.

The park surrounding this monument has freshly trimmed grasses, plants, bushes with colourful flowers, and tall trees, that makes you feel like you’re far away from the civilisations. It’s a perfect place for that long-awaited morning walk as you walk around the grand premises, one can hear the birds chirping, morning dew sliding off the leaves and the people practising yoga.
