6 Fantastic Reasons Why You ABSOLUTELY Need To Visit The Delhi Zoo Atleast Once With Your Kids

It's the season of rains and breeze, and the weather gods are smiling down on us. What's even better is going to our favourite Delhi Zoo with kids since nothing beats wandering through nature with pleasant wind and an overcast sky in the background. If you're still not convinced, we have a few reasons why you should come here without a second thought.

1. Get To Be Close To The Nature

Let's face it, there aren't many kid-friendly, safe and green locations to visit in this big concrete metropolis. One of the few places in the city that are adored by both kids and adults alike, the Delhi Zoo is made up of a verdant green forest with blooming flowers, a sizable fountain embellishing a big pond to the right, and clean paths taking you deeper within the zoo. In Delhi Zoo, there are over 200 different tree species, including several that have medicinal use. With a fresh wind and the peace of a forest, isn't this nature at its best?

2. Enrich Your Knowledge Of A Variety Of Animals

Many different birds, reptiles, and mammal species may be seen living in the Delhi Zoo where they can be found in habitats that mirror their natural environments in many respects. The Delhi Zoo offers us the best chance to learn about the creatures we have only seen in books and movies in front of us because not all of us can visit the large national parks and wildlife sanctuaries. And given how immersed your children are in the virtual world, this might be a chance to limit their screen time. They gain a fresh perspective on wildlife and its conservation as a result. Don't we all wish for this?

3. Get Ready To Be Awestruck while Seeing Exotic & Exciting Animals

Seeing a giraffe munching on leaves off of trees or a white tiger lounging in peace can make everyone, no matter their age, leap with delight. The little ones will undoubtedly be enthralled by the sight of white tiger, gaur, jaguar, rhinoceros, elephants, brow-antlered deer (sangai), lion-tailed macaque, and many more animals! And that's the charm of the zoo - you can observe all of these critically endangered animals living in the wild. And you may take pictures of the magnificent wildlife vistas on foot or by hiring a trolley, whichever you want!

4. Go Birdwatching & Observe Numerous Migratory Birds

If you and your children are fascinated by migrating birds on Animal Planet, then you must visit Delhi Zoo. The zoo is one of the few areas in Delhi where painted storks nest and breed, making it an excellent spot for bird watching. Apart from migrating birds in the winter, the zoo is home to at least 50 free-roaming avian species throughout the year, including herons, white-breasted kingfishers, cormorants, parakeets, yellow-footed green pigeons, brown-headed barbets, and many more. Woah, that's a treasure to watch out for!

5. Bounce Back Into Childhood Nostalgia

Remember those times when visiting the zoo at least once a year was a ritual for family picnics and school field trips? After a two-year hiatus and with people favouring malls over outdoors, it is time to look back on the good ol' days and allow our inner child's memories to run wild. We are certain that each and every location will have some anecdotes and snippets when you arrive, elevating the experience of being here.

6. A Perfect & Affordable Day Outing With The Kids
