In a place like Srinagar where winters are extreme, tea becomes an important part of the culture. Although Kashmir is already blessed with Sheer Chai and Kahwa, Chai Jaai on Residency Road adds many more flavours to this tea paradise and you shouldn't miss it for anything in the world!

Inspired by the tea room of Cotswolds, the art, food and music of this place depicts a rich Kashmiri culture. The interiors are resplendent with Paper mache walls and French windows and one wall is dedicated to different shapes and designs of mirrors. 

Take in the beautiful view of the mountains and Jhelum as you gorge on local breads like Tchot and Shir Naan with Kehwa which is served in a traditional Samovar and is an experience not to be missed! At their French Patisserie, you can feast away on their tasty treats like brownies and croissants!
