Always been a diehard fan of the iconic band The Beatles? LISTEN TO THE COLOUR OF YOUR DREAMS and head to the Beatles Ashram in Rishikesh now! Earlier known as ‘Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s Ashram’, the ashram changed its name to The Beatles Ashram after members of the glorious band - The Beatles visited it! Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr came to meet Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in 1968 to learn transcendental meditation and the rest is history!

Situated in the premises of Rajaji National Park, the ashram with its dome shaped meditation camp structure offers tons of peace and harmony. It got closed after the Yogi’s demise but has now been reopened as a tourist attraction and is under the control of the government of Uttarakhand. 

If you’re an art enthusiast, the ashram will surely tug at your heart with its quirky wall graffiti. Curated by the various artists of the world under the community The Beatles Cathedral Gallery, the ashram is also home to creative paintings and quotes of famous spiritual leaders. It's also a great place for photography and bird watching.
