Stop By The Shaniwar Wada For An Evening Full Of Ghosts & Mysteries

Bookmark

This city has its fair share of haunted places to visit. There’s one place that tops it all and that is the Shaniwar Wada which traces back to the time of the royal Peshwas. Shaniwar Wada has surely stood against ancient times and presently, it is a spooky tourist spot that is quite popular amongst the locals. Here’s all the deets we have for ya!

For A Supernatural Experience | Catch Narayan Rao’s heart-wrenching cries calling out for his uncle ‘Kaka Mala Vaachwa’ and shrieks of other residents who died here in a fire that took place almost a century ago. It is believed that people hear spooky voices after sunset and on full moon nights (geez, creepy AF!). If you don’t wanna risk it with the ghosts and eerie sounds, then you can visit and witness the beautifully manicured gardens and gates that are named after Mastani, Ganpati and Narayan Rao.

If you wish to spend some me-time, come find a peaceful spot and bring a book with you, or you can grab your bae and spend some quality time. Either way, you’re in for a treat @ Shaniwar Wada. Don’t forget to visit Omkareshwar Temple and Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum that are located nearby.
