Jai Ganesha Deva! | Over 125 years old, the temple has tremendous, divine historical significance; when Shri Dagdusheth Halwai and his wife Lakshmibai’s only son lost his life to the plague epidemic, Lord Ganesha was incepted by them. The Ganesha idol is 2.2 m high and adorned with close to 40 kgs of gold.
The devotees offer coconuts, money, and even gold. Often, the temple trust organizes bhajans and Atharvasheesh recitations. Moreover, in the evenings, this temple looks phenomenal with bright, luminous lights and is a must-visit when you’re in the city!
