Located smack in the middle of the Tibetan Market in Mallital, Sonam Fast Food is known for its mouth-watering vegetarian and mutton momos as well as the mouth-watering thukpa. The eatery is always brimming with foodies and is hard to miss!

3. Boat House Club

A highly recommended club/restaurant right on the lake, the only problem is that it's for members only. They do grant 'temporary' memberships also, for a small fee and it's very much worth it if one happens to be spending the day at Nainital. Gorge on cheap food that's subsidised and every bit delicious!

4. Cafe Chica

Away from the constant hustle-bustle of the streets in Nainital, lies Cafe Chica tucked away in the hills. This outdoor cafe, known for its English breakfast, also offers a marvellous view. From their homemade croissants to pastas and salads - there is a LOT to gorge on here.

5. Embassy

Located on the Mall Road, this one is one of Nainital’s older faves. With its elegant wood-panelled interior and a cosy outdoor seating, they do amazing Tandoori, Chinese and Tibetan cuisine! Be sure to try their pizzas and sizzlers too!

This outlet is an absolute delight for vegetarians ‘cause they feature an all veg. menu with super tasty soups and North Indian preparations with more of a Punjabi kick to it. The food is low on spice as well as price, so you’ll love your visit here!

This is another vegetarian paradise known for its delectable multi-cuisine dishes. We'd recommend trying the Biryani and Paneer Butter Masala. While people love the place for its ambience and the quality of the food, it's slightly more heavier on the pockets as compared to other restaurants.
