Considered to be one of the most revered Hindu temples in India, how can you miss a visit to Naina Devi situated on the northern shore of Naini Lake. With Naini Devi or Mata Sati as the presiding deity of this temple, mythologically this place marks the spot where Sati’s eye fell on earth, after Lord Shiva carried her charred remains from the yagna performed by Daksha.
