Sevagram is a small village located near Nagpur that gives you a glimpse of our country’s independence struggle. It is said that Gandhi Ji set up his base here in 1936 during the independence struggle, as it was in central India. He resided here in an Ashram and it is safe to say that the small village that stands today was a haven of national importance back in the day. Due to the large number of colleagues who chose to reside with him, the ashram was a full-fledged institution and this significantly grand establishment still has the Ba Kuti and the Bapu Kuti for visitors to see. These houses preserved in time truly transport one to the 1930s and thus its a place of great cultural importance.
