4 Places In Mussoorie That Serve The BEST Tibetan Food Ever!

What's better than having some steaming food in the cold weather? Nothing at all! In fact food tastes so much better in the hills, especially Tibetan food which you'll find plenty of here in Mussoorie which is why we've mapped out 5 places that you must check out RN! 

1. Kalsang's Friends Corner

Tucked in a corner on the famous Mall Road, this is one of the greatest tourist attractions in itself! The two floored restaurant with Tibetan prayer flags and red printed walls and glass windows all around gives a very traditional feel! They have a 10 page long menu that showcases Chinese, Tibetan and Thai specialities. From Dim Sums to Soups & Thukpa, everything is super delicious so go try!

2. Amitash - The Rice Bowl 

Amitash Restaurant also known as Rice Bowl is a simplistic and cozy restaurant that has a clear view of two sides of the Mall Road! This restaurant has a hut-type look from the outside and has a very calm ambience and an amazing view from the 2nd floor. The restaurant has an extensive menu which boasts of Noodles, Momos, Spring Rolls and Fried Rice to name a few! We personally recommend that you try out their Fried Rice and Manchurian - it’s a combination made in heaven and would satiate all your Chinese cravings *no exaggeration*!

3. Momos Tibetan Kitchen

Momo’ Tibetan Kitchen is tucked away in the Kulri Bazaar on the Mall Road. Fairly new, as compared to the ones that have been here for decades, this place has some really cool, peppy interiors with some beautiful, artsy walls! They serve Thai, Chinese and of course, Tibetan food.Their Thukpa and soups are amongst the most recommended dishes here that one cannot miss. Don’t forget to order up the Ginger Beer - it goes best with all this scrumptious food!

4. Doma's Inn

This place in Landour has an eclectic decor with a traditional and colourful vibe to it. The restaurant has a main dining hall which is beautifully designed. When here, do try the Thukpa and momos which are super authentic and delicious.
