Tucked away in Kalaghoda, Jehangir Art Gallery proudly displays the works of some of the most prestigious artists in the country. It was established in 1952 and is a paradise for art lovers! Here’s all the deets we have for ya folks!

Art Is Not A Thing, It’s A Way | The entire fund for Jehangir Art Gallery was provided by Cowasji Jehangir and it was named after Sir Cowasji’s late son. It has even hosted famous artists like M.F. Hussain and S.H. Raza! If sources are to be believed, this gallery is always booked in advance, and sometimes, the exhibitor would have to wait for a year or two to showcase their work.

Presently, Jehangir Art Gallery has 4 halls that’s equipped with all the modern facilities, thus making the exhibition process much simpler. About 300 shows are held here each year, and the best part is that if you’re an upcoming artist and can’t make it to the gallery, you can display your work right outside the museum, on the pavement!
