The Valley Of Flowers Known For Its White Sand Dunes & Being A Cold Desert - Nubra Valley

The Nubra Valley in Ladakh is one place everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime. Offering awe-inspiring scenery at a grand scale, it's nothing less than paradise! 

The Nubra Valley has everything! It has a green oasis of villages which are surrounded by snow clad mountains as well as arid mountains. Otherwise called the Valley Of Flowers, Nubra is said to be one of the most beautiful places in the world! 

Nestled in the North East part of Ladakh, about 15 kms from Leh, Nubra Valley is also a desert - in fact a cold desert! Located at an altitude of 4,000 m, the stunning silver sand dunes will leave you mesmerised. 

The desert is also home to Bactrian Camels and tourists generally like to go on a desert safari and enjoy the views as they ride on the camel and visit the village of Hunder too. 

While there you can also visit the monasteries nearby like the Diskit Gompa. All in all the valley is a masterpiece of nature and one should definitely add it to their list of must do’s!
