1. Hemis National Park

Located in the eastern part of Ladakh, it's the largest national park in South Asia. Spread over 4400 sq. kms, the park is home to a number of species of mammals as well as birds. It's a wildlife enthusiast and bird watcher’s dream destination. 2. Tso Kar Lake

3. Tso Moriri Lake

This lake is amongst the most popular lakes in Ladakh. It offers scenic beauty encompassed by snow peaks and has an ample amount of wildlife and about 14 species of water birds like Brow Headed Gulls and the Great headed Greband Bar-headed Geese! The Ladakhi Bharal or Blue Sheep can be easily spotted here, you might also be able to spot a Snow Leopard if you're lucky!
4. Tarbong Valley

The Tarbong Valley in Ladakh is known for its Snow Leopard treks where you get to trek in the snow and if lucky enough spot a Snow Leopard! The experience of watching the sunrise, illuminating the snow clad mountains is priceless! Be sure to experience it out.
5. Nubra Valley

One of the most beautiful places in Ladakh, Nubra Valley has a lot of wildlife but it is home to the Bactrian Camel, the two humped camel found at the Hunder Sand Dunes of the valley. You can go for a desert safari on them as well!
