A Safe Haven Preserving History | AP State Museum stands on a foundation that dates back to the 19th century, and it mainly displays the work of contemporary artists and countless artefacts in the galleries. Their collection includes stone sculptures, manuscripts and textiles that signify the state’s rich history. The galleries showcase extensive skill, and the intricate construction depicts the different periods of human civilisation.
The vast collection of Buddhist and Hindu Artifacts date back to the second and third centuries, and it’s something the museum rightfully boasts over. But their most treasured possession would be an Egyptian Mummy donated by the seventh Nizam of Hyderabad which is a popular attraction amongst visitors.
