Flower, rangoli and right placement of diya can make any place look festive. Decorate your front gate, stairs with lines of diya and make a rangoli with diyas on it near to your main entrance. For that extra glam use flowers.

I would recommend you to buy that clay diyas, in which you will find different designs too. And for the decorations , you can put it along the railings of wall. So, it can work instead of fairy lights which we usually use.

You can decorate it by making small rangolis or else you can decorate it on the staircase.
