Are you planning to travel to your hometown or for work purposes once the lockdown is lifted? Well, then make sure to read this out ‘cause this is how it may change later.

New Face Of Travelling | Once the flight operations resume, it might take longer at the security checks so it will be advisable to leave for the airport well in advance. It’s expected that these flight operations may resume from the 3rd of May and it’s being planned that everyone will be screened for body temperatures. Those with abnormal temperatures, flu-like symptoms or not wearing a mask won’t be allowed inside the terminal building.

Plus, there may not be any queuing up and the passengers will be divided into batches with a seating area being available in the check-in area. These seats will be placed far from each other complying with the social distancing norms and the passengers will get up for checking only when their names are called. There will be touch-free frisking using metal detectors and the capacity of the airport bus might also be reduced by 50%.

Moreover, people will be encouraged to print their boarding passes at home and that airlines won’t be serving in-flight meals to reduce interactions until further notice. Even the use of in-flight lavatories will be reduced and only a bottle of water will be served.

What do you think about these tentative developments?
