College life is undoubtedly the most exciting and eventful part of our lives. But it’s also marked by perpetual hunger and ironically, pennilessness. We all want to explore new places and eat various types of cuisines and try everything exciting, that's the sort of spirit we have when we're in college but our pocket doesn't really support us that way. But we found a place near Apeeejay Institute Of Design in Tughlakabad Industrial Area that’s basically every college-goer’s dream. Intrigued? We’ll tell you all about it just read on!
Rolls For Rs 10? WHHHAAATT??
Tughlakabad Institutional Area is a place where a lot for colleges reside. This area is basically a hub of students where spot them roaming around in bunches, looking for some street food salvation without burning a hole in their pockets. So, it comes as no surprise that this area is teeming with street food options but this one unnamed cart we came across near Apeejay Institute Of Design was a game-changer. They were dishing out these yummy masala chole roll, the wrapping of which can be chosen between a parantha or bhatura. But you know what the astounding part was? The thing that made us rub our eyes in disbelief? This roll was priced at Rs 10. Yes, you read that right, JUST 10 BUCKS!
Yummy Meal On-The-Go!
So, this roll had the filling of traditional masala chole wrapped inside a parantha along with freshly cut onions, tomatoes, chillies and coriander. It was a meal on-the-go, perfect for all the students who prefer hassle-free eats or just need a quick breakfast or lunch on the way to class. The chole were extremely flavourful and spicy & the assorted veggies added that extra crunch factor to the snack, something that we really liked. The portion size was absolutely appropriate and just one roll was filling enough but with such great taste and steal price, there’s was no way our gluttonous selves could’ve stopped at one. So, we hogged away to our heart’s content without any reluctance or compunction!
The popularity of this unnamed stall was evident from the number of students it was thronged by, all looking for a quick fix for their mid-lectures hunger pangs. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here and are looking forward to making our way there back again. Won’t you like to join us?
