You Can Use Your Metro Card To Hop On 5,500 Buses In Delhi From 24th August!

The idea of a buying a ticket each time you board a bus or the metro has always seemed like such a hassle - not least because of the mile-long queues we have to endure. But the Delhi Government gave us a pleasant surprise! Read on!

Metro Cards For Bus Travel | The ‘common mobility card’ is finally gonna be launched in Delhi from Friday, 24th August, so you can use your metro cards as an electronic mode of payment for 5,500 buses in the capital! 

All you you have to do is tap your metro cards on an Electronic Ticketing Machine and your ticket will get generated. Simple, right?! These cards can be purchased and recharged at all metro stations, railway stations, airports, Inter State Bus Terminals (ISBTs) and DTC bus pass counters.

We think this is a terrific move by the Delhi Government and can’t wait to swipe our metro cards during our bus rides! Woohoo!
