Pay heed all you metro travellers - DMRC has expanded the network of Metro Smart Card usage! It now allows commuters to use it for feeder buses and parking at 13 metro stations in the city!! On 8th of January, the government introduced the Common Mobility Card project for 250 DTC and cluster buses, and now these guys have further expanded the usage!

What’s New This Time | Commuters with this card will be able to park their vehicles at 13 stations - Vishwavidyalaya, Saket, Karkarduma, Dilshad Garden, Akshardham, Patel Chowk, Kashmere Gate, Rohini Sector (18 and 19), Shastri Park, NHPC Chowk, Mewala Maharajpur, Old Faridabad, and Sector 28, Faridabad.

A Metro officials said “The common mobility card will encourage commuters to park their vehicles at the Metro stations, correcting the existing imbalance that nearly 70% of those who park at the stations at the moment are non-Metro commuters.”

This comes as a big relief for 2 lakh people who use more than 200 feeder buses every day which cover 40 routes across different lines!

Kudos to the government which is constantly working to make travelling in the city stress-free!!
