Recently, The Indian Council Of Medical Research on Wednesday, the 19th of May, issued an advisory that now enables an individual to do a COVID self-test at home with an ICMR-approved kit. Here’s everything you need to know about this development.

Self-Testing Is The New Normal? | Yes, you read that right, CoviSelf has been approved for these tests. So, according to the advisory, an individual above the age of 18 years can do this self-collected nasal swab test or with an adult-collected nasal swab for children of ages 2 years and above, without any medical supervision. Only nasal swabs will be required for this test and those who have symptoms or have been in immediate contact with laboratory-confirmed cases should opt for this test.

You’ve gotta download their app to conduct this test and fill out some credentials. Your results will be out after 15 mins, however, any result after the mark of 20 mins will be considered invalid!
