You Can Now Apply For 11 Transport Related Services Like Driving Licenses & More Online!

Are you sick and tired of the endless queues outside the Regional Transport Office (RTO) for your driving license? Well, you can now bid farewell to all that waiting around as the RTOs in Delhi have gone online! Here’s how it’s gonna prove beneficial for us Delhizens!

Bid Farewell To Long Queues! | RTOs in Delhi went online from the 1st of October so that basically means that now we can apply for driving licenses, learner licenses, vehicle registration certificates and more online! So yep, the process is gonna become much easier and hassle-free.

Our Transport Minister had earlier said that 13 licensing offices in Delhi will be declared as e-RTOs and 11 services related to transport can be applied for online on the website of the Transport Department. You can also make electronic transactions for the services you apply for, which is so cool!

People will be given a fixed slot when they can come to the RTO office and get their documents verified. So from applying for a driving license to getting a change in your address, issuance of duplicate licenses and more - all these services can be now applied for online! There will be separate RTO help desks that’ll aid people with the online procedure at a cost of Rs 60.
