Goa has unofficially been named India’s party destination and for all the right reasons. With golden shorelines, nightclubs where you can party till the sunrise, overflowing chilled beer, mind-blowing seafood and TONS of more reasons that you just can’t seem to count on your fingertips. And this ah-mazing news about the state will surely make things a lot happier for you!

Cautiously Open! | By now you might have already heard that Goa is now open for domestic tourism with 250+ hotels open for guests. So, if you’re someone who’s already making plans to visit this place to get some breather, there are a few guidelines that you will have to follow.  You will have to carry a COVID-19 negative certificate within a stipulated 48-hour window or get tested the moment you reach the state. Upon reaching a hotel, you’ll be tested for COVID-19 and won’t be allowed to move until the test results come back negative.

Hotels will have to be pre-booked and only the ones that have been approved by the state tourism will be allowed to entertain bookings. And staying at one which hasn’t been approved by the government will be deemed illegal. Did you know a lot of beach shacks are still closed? Yep, a popular club, Love Passion Karma is also currently closed to tourists.

So, if you do plan to go on a trip to Goa, you might want to keep the guidelines and the places that are open, in mind.
