Where To Get The Best Bang For Your 809 Bucks @ The 809 Fest At Cyber Hub

Ahoy, foodies! We’re sure you’ve been looking forward to the ‘809 Fest’ @ Cyber Hub that kicks-off tomorrow in all its vigour!? Well, we’re sure it’s gonna be a great show and we can’t wait to start hogging at our favourite haunts @ the venue.

If you haven’t heard yet and don’t know what’s making us bounce off of our seats, then here’s what you ought to know about the ‘809 Fest’ - we’re sure you remember that DLF Cyber Hub  discontinued its liquor services for over a month recently? Turns out it was a total of 809 hours of inactivity for the free flowing heady potables and so, Cyber Hub is hosting this fest where 22 participating outlets @ Cyber Hub are offering great combos for just 809 bucks! Oh yes! 

So of course we picked out our 10 favourite combos that we can’t bring ourselves to miss out on. Here you go!

1. Olive Bistro

Adored for its stunning Mediterranean fare that’s oh-so-yum, the bistro offers you a choice of one mocktail/IMFL cocktail/Domestic beer pint with a choice of one main dish to choose from amongst Margherita Thatcher, Penne Lane, Polenta Dance, Veg Xacuti, Soulful Bowls, To BBQ or Not to BBQ, Chicken 420, Catch Me If You Can, Chicken Xacuti & Soulful Bowls! *Slurps*

2. Nooba

Their name is a combination of two words - ‘Noodle’ & ‘Bar’ and they serve exactly what they promise. It’s all about authentic Chinese fare that ought to get you drooling. You get to try their Beijing Hot & Sour Soup or Guangdong Sweet Corn Soup with a choice of main course from Fried Rice With Chicken or Fish/ Chicken or Fish Noodles/Fried Rice With Veggies/ Veg Noodles with your choice of sauce as well as vanilla ice-cream with chocolate sauce & a glass of cold drink! Naiceee.

3. Oh Calcutta!

Serving up a taste of flavourful Calcutta in Delhi, Oh Calcutta will serve you a choice of starter from Channa Koraishutir Chop/Bhapa Aloo/ Fish Fry/ Murshidabadi Murgi Fry. For mains you can opt for Cholar Dal, Aloo Dom, Koraishutir Dhokar Dalna, Chittagong Masala Murgi, Rui Sorse Bata/Basa Sorshe Bata, Luchi, Steamed Rice, Tomato Khejur-er Chatni & Papad Bhaja. For dessert you can order Chaler Payesh, Bhapa Sondesh or ice cream with a round for Kingfisher Regular/ Alcoholic Mojito. *WOAH*

4. Cafe Delhi Heights

Our beloved Cafe Delhi Heights is dishing out 3 combos to choose from. In COMBO-1 you get to try Pan Fried Noodles Chilli Bean Sauce + Lemonade + dessert of the day. COMBO-2 will fetch you soup of the day + Mom's Buttered Tikka Masala + Banta Soda while COMBO-3 promises house salad + Burger VS Banta or beer! *Nice* There’s lots to try here guys!

5. Soda Bottle Openerwala

Our go-to for anything and everything related to Parsi cuisine, Soda Bottle Openerwala would be dishing out Vada Pav + Paneer Sanju Baba + Pav/Rotli + a drink as part of their veg platter and  Chicken Cutlet (cutlis) + Paneer Akuri + Pav/Rotli + a drink for their Non-Veg Platter. Short and sweet but filled with amazing flavours, this one’s on the hot-list for obvious reasons!

6. Soi 7

We couldn’t have gotten away with talking about a fest like this one and not say a word about drinking our livers out, now could we?! Yep, sure enough, we’d be heading over to Soi 7 for 2 mugs of freshly brewed beer along with a pizza during the fest. So yeah, we’ll just see you there then!

7. Zizo

Serving authentic Lebanese food, Zizo is dishing out amazing grub for two during the fest. For appetizers choose from Hummus with Homemade Pita, Batata Hara, Spicy/Provencale Chicken Wings or Spicy Falafel with homemade pita & pickles. For mains, you can opt for Chicken/Paneer Shawarma Roll, Penne Arabiata, Farfalle Alfredo with Chicken & tons more, plus Lazy Cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, Lady Arm & Cheese Khunafa along with two mocktails! Okay wow.

8. Raasta

Head on over to Raasta for 1+1 on IMFL drinks & 1 appetizer as you groove to their reggae music and unwind in style as you dig into the delish continental and Italian fare they have to offer. This has gotten us truly excited, good going Cyber Hub!

9. Italiano

Staying true to its name, Italiano promises a choice of pizza from Pizza Verdure/Pizza Margherita/ Pizza Supreme/ Cipollo Alla Pollo/ Chicken Chunks Pizza or a choice of Red/While Sauce Pasta along with 2 beers (Kingfisher/ Tuborg)! *We Like*

10. Delifrance

For your sweet tooth binge-ing you gotta head over to this French bakery and gorge on any 1 Classic Sandwich (veg or non veg), 1 pint of beer and any 1 choice of dessert from cupcakes, rich chocolate brownie, walnut brownie, lemon tart, fruit tart, chocolate muffin, strawberry muffin, cinnamon roll or custard danish! *YAS*
