Delhiites, we’ve got some great news in store for you. Remember we told you that a massive skywalk is on the cards at ITO’s always super congested intersection? Well, the skywalk’s now ready to serve us Delhizens! Keep reading.

Delhi’s Longest Foot Overbridge | Touted to be the city’s longest foot overbridge (wow!), the ITO skywalk will be connecting Tilak Marg and Mathura Road, and this awesome sauce transportation initiative is gonna open for the public tomorrow, that is, the 15th of October! woohoo!

The skywalk will start at Pragati Maidan Metro Station and will open up to a common area which will later be developed commercially. PWD is planning to open cafes and canopies in this area. The common area will then diverge into 3 different routes, one taking pedestrians to Tilak Bridge Railway Station, the other to Pragati Maidan’s Gate 9 and the third will open to the ITO crossing.

The ITO intersection area has always been a really busy and bustling office hub, witnessing a huge load of traffic. And amongst all this madness, walking becomes a real task for pedestrians. But with this skywalk, it’s gonna get a lot easier for people to cross roads hassle-free. Phew!

Walking across this intersection is now gonna be a piece of cake!
