Delhi summers are incomplete without the annual mango festival and so this year, the Delhi Government has taken things up a notch by merging the mango festival with the city's first ever Summer Festival!
What to look forward to | It's set to commence from the 24th June at Dilli Haat in Janakpuri, where it'll be inaugurated by our CM, Arvind Kejriwal (fancy!). The cultural extravaganza will see singers, dancers, illusionists, comedians and bands overwhelming the crowds.
Mango eating competition | Here comes the main attraction which we've all been waiting for! A mango eating competition will be held, called '100 hai daam, kitne bhi kha lo aam'. So all you need is 100 bucks and the world is your oyster (or rather, your mango)!
Delhiites prepare for some refreshing smoothies, yogurts, sharbats and an unlimited variety of mangoes as the feast will last for 3 whole days, from the 24th to the 26th of June. Come on over!
