Well Damn! Delhi's Iconic Taj Mansingh Will Soon Be Auctioned Off By The Govt.

Delhi’s popular Taj Mahal Hotel, also known as Taj Mansingh which was proudly owned by the Tatas is soon to be auctioned, as laid down by the Supreme Court! DAMN! 

The Tatas had been given a 33-year lease for the property in one of the most central parts of the capital. The contract ended in 2011 and thus it’s now time to bid goodbye to this property in case they don’t manage to win the online auction! The Tatas had already been given a long enough extension post the lease having ended but not anymore. 

This was done when the NDMC was taken to court by the Tatas to renew their lease without an auction but it worked the other way around. An auction it is now! 

Bye bye Taj Mansingh!
