PVR Director’s Cut has launched a swanky new Popcorn Bar, a gourmet dessert counter replete with their latest offering of sweet and savory popcorn and exotic range of ice cream flavors in collaboration with Minus 30.
We were invited to the special tasting session hosted by Executive Chef Mayank Tewari to relish the sweet and savory popcorn and novel range of ice cream flavors in a unique foodie meetup.
Popcorn Bar at PVR Director’s Cut is home to a variety of exciting new flavors available for in-cinema dining or as take away treats,including - get this - flavours like Cheddar, Wasabi, Cajun & Cheese, Sour Cream & Onion to name a few; with the the sweet range including Mocha Caramel, Belgian Chocolate and the Fruit range comprising Mango, Orange & Watermelon and the exclusive Popcorn Sundae range made of a customized mix of ice creams and popcorn flavors. Woah!
The highlight of the evening was definitely being introduced nine bespoke flavours of ice creams exclusively designed for Director’s Cut, ranging from classics like French Vanilla, Strawberry to tantalizing flavors such as Goat Cheese with Wild Berry Compote, Citrus Martini and Passion Fruit that are now available in individual scoops and ice cream sundaes paired with matching popcorn flavors as toppings.
The concept of taking the cinema industry’s staple food to the next level and position popcorn more as a standalone dessert than a mere snack has really impressed us! PVR Director’s Cut provides an unparalleled movie dining experience in Delhi, and is fast becoming a great fine dining destination in itself. Moreover, Chef Mayank assured us that there’s way more in stored for us, so stay tuned!
