We Tried Blackcurrant Samosa, Paan Samosa & Other Crazy Varieties @ THIS Gem In Krishna Nagar

Samosa has always been the most beloved street food snack across India and Aman Namkeen Bhandar in Krishna Nagar is an ode to that fact! It showcases some of the most crazy varieties of samosas, setting aside the mainstream potato fillings which is why we love the place!

So here's what we indulged in here on our second trip to this place cuz clearly we just couldn't get enough (Click here to read about our first visit there):

Paan Samosa 

We can call this a truly desi concoction which will make its way into your hearts forever! The cool green shelled samosa, believe it or not, had the taste of a meetha paan and the medley of flavours of gulkand, cardamom and cloves came together beautifully; every bite was like a party in the mouth! Definitely a must try during summertime.

Shahi Paneer Samosa

One definitely can't miss out on the most important veggie delicacy of Punjab called Shahi Paneer. Beneath the golden fried crust lay the extremely creamy/shahi soft paneer with the flavours of cashew and tempering spices!

Chilli Potato Samosa

The thrilling burst of flavours of chilli sauce, garlic, ginger, green chillies beneath the crusty shell of a fried samosa will make you drool! The samosa was accompanied with green chutney and saunth but who would require such cliched add ons when the filling is so exquisite!

Tandoori Soya Chaap Samosa

Soya chaap has always been the most delectable snack, loved by all vegetarians.The zingy and spicy chaap inside the samosa definitely did not disappoint us. The flavours of zesty pickle masala tickled our palates!

Blackcurrant Samosa

This again is a very limited type of samosa found here and truly an unusual one! Blackcurrant strikes us mostly with desserts but this concoction blew our minds away with its sweet and sour taste!
