We Might Soon Get App-Based AC Buses Which Will Pick Passengers Up From Their Homes!

You know what, Delhiites? We feel that our public transport services have quickly escalated from good to better to best! And just in case you don’t agree with us, here’s a piece of great news for all of you! Read on. 

Ready To Board Luxe Buses? | The city’s long planned premium bus service scheme, wherein you can book and reserve a seat in an AC bus using a mobile app, which will then arrive at your doorstep (OMG that’s great!), is being fast-tracked by the Delhi Government! That’s so darn awesome, no? Plus, these buses will have WiFi services and loads of other amenities, to make bus rides a great experience for us. Yayy! 

The government has said that the job of running these buses will be given to private operators and the transport department will develop the mobile application. The buses will have seats for everyone, and hence, no provision for standing passengers. Additionally, it’ll have CCTV cameras as well. The fare for these buses is likely to be higher than the fare for usual DTC buses.

The transport department is still in the process of developing the app, but let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope that we can get our rides on these luxe buses soon!
