We May Soon Have A Play Street In Sarita Vihar Where People Can Skate & Play Games

With the number of vehicles constantly increasing in the city, there’s hardly any place left for children to play and that’s just sad! But hey, there’s a very interesting initiative being taken up by the SDMC which might solve this issue for the little ones. Take a look!

What’s Happening? | In Sarita Vihar’s G Block, the SDMC is planning to turn a portion of the Agarwal Marketplace into a play area for games like hopscotch and more and that’s so awesome! So this play area shall be called a Play Street and the concept is inspired by cities like London and Amsterdam where such areas have been set up. A ‘Play Street’ is basically a safe space wherein kids can play games and people can interact without having to dodge vehicular traffic.

We’re really impressed with this initiative and hope we can go check out this Play Street really soon!
