All those endless and back-breaking queues outside museums only to get hold of a ticket might soon come to an end! Visitors may may soon need only ONE ticket for entry into close to a dozen museums in Delhi. *OMG!*
Dishing The Deets | The newly-revamped National Rail Museum is planning to approach other museums in the city and come up with an implementation strategy for single ticket access across museums.
Currently, talks are on with Madame Tussauds wax museum, which had been launched back in December in CP. If things work out, then we might soon have just one ticket for National Rail Museum and Madame Tussauds. Now that’s pretty cool!
Although the price of the common entry ticket isn’t out yet, word on the block is that it’d most likely be in the neighbourhood of Rs 200 for a family of four.
In addition, come May and the Rail Museum will turn into a destination for night tourism and will be open till 9 PM! *Yayy!* A light and sound show will also be started at this new evening destination. So basically, once all these ideas are implemented, a visit to the Rail Museum is a MUST!
Museum-hopping in Delhi is soon gonna be easy-peasy, peeps!
