We walked into Garam Dharam - Dhaba Te Theka in Rajouri Garden all starry eyed and absolutely fell in love with it. The colourful rustic walls with hanging dhols and upside down buckets used as lamps undoubtedly defines this place as the perfect Punjabi dhaba to hit when craving yummylicious food!

The interiors of the themed restaurant take you to Dharam Ji’s world from the famous movie dialogues on the walls to the popular bike from Sholay; it has that perfect desi blend of a Punjabi Dhaba with a glimpse of  Paaji’s life.

Here’s what made our tummies really really happy here:

Drinks

We were pleasantly surprised by their Theka corner and their ChulBuli Mocktail which was served in a tiny bottle with a narrow head. The taste was superb, much like a chatpata bunta with jeera masala, chaat masala & Imli flavour! The next on the list truly amazed us and left us wanting more - their Blueberry Lassi was so unique - it had that distinct flavour of blueberry with thick curd, making it a refreshing and filling choice! .

Dahi ke Kabab

We started our meal with Dahi ke Kebab which is a must try on their menu. Crisp from the outside with a smooth texture, we loved how prettily it was plated with onions, lime and sprinkled dhaniya and was served with a zesty mint sauce that got us hooked.

Chicken Curry

Made from the usual indian spices and tadka, the chicken here tastes home cooked and the gravy is what we loved most about the dish - it was creamy, rich and a little spicy, sprinkled with ginger slices! The dish was an ultimate fusion of Kadhai Chicken and Butter Chicken to sum it up best.

Moong Dal Ka Halwa

It was served warm in a katori and we gobbled it all up in seconds - need we say more?! Rich and creamy with a divine taste of elaichi and khoya, this dessert is a must have, especially during winters.

Rush to this amazing themed restaurant in West Delhi for some amazing grub and you won’t leave disappointed!
