Life is too short to waste on mediocre meals! That’s exactly why locals in Noida literally make a pilgrimage to Bistro 37, named after the sector they’re in. No prizes for guessing, in Sector 37 lies this bistro that serves the most soporific, finger licking grub you're going to find that side of the DND.

This take-away restaurant is an attraction for all those looking for great taste on a very modest budget. The biggest selling point, they have mastered the art of merging Indian flavors with world cuisine, so in a regular spinach and corn sandwich there's a sizzling dash of the good ol' Indian laal mirch that adds zing to the sandwich like never before.

We went looking around, eating pretty much everything off their menu to bring to you the top 5 dishes you totally have to try at Bistro 37!

Old School

When you think comfort food, what comes to mind is a juicy lamb burger that’s a meat bomb and just the thought is enough to drive the blues away! So we come to the meaty heart of the matter, and with their Old School, you bite into the crunchiness of onions, tomatoes and lettuce wrapped in juicy creaminess of two kinds of mayo and a Thousand Island dressing to launch into the smoky lamb patty that’s a literal flavor bomb. The patty isn’t a bog standard piece of lamb and what elevates it is the fact that it’s smeared and cooked in some really fresh Indian spices. It’s good enough to have spawned version 2.0 called ‘The Bogart’ which is basically two juicy lamb patties smacked between a bun.

You finish this burger with guaranteed gloop on your hands and if that doesn’t tell you just how awesome it is, you should try this out for yourself!

B-37 Club Sandwich

A clubhouse sandwich is ideally toasted bread, cooked poultry, bacon, lettuce and tomatoes but when you decide to make something your signature dish, then the B-37 Club Sandwich becomes all about grilled bread oozing with luscious bites of chicken mixed with Thousand Island dressing.

The mushy insides of the sandwich are married with the crowd-pleasing coleslaw vegetables and a whole fried egg. How’s that for a spin on every hotel’s most favorite sandwich? This sandwich is a great option for a quick meal that’s piled high with taste and is decent sized enough to leave you feeling sated.

Road Runner

The theme of comfort food runs through all the grub that you find at Bistro 37 and Road Runner doesn’t deviate from the norm. So you take the Mumbai street food darling, the Bun Maska, which is literally bun and butter and dress it up with an omelet and what you get is a perfect Indian street food burger!

The omelet is a typical Indian masala omelet, replete with onions, tomatoes, coriander and green chillies, served up with a rich layer of mint chutney which underlines Bistro 37’s dedication to bringing in a taste of Indian flavours into everything that they whip up. This is a simple burger for those days when all you crave is flavours that are straightforward and uncomplicated.

B-37 Veg Burger

Probably the most paradoxical words in the burger dictionary are the words ‘vegetarian patty’! Is there even a way that a burger can be made half as decently without some sort of smoky meat juicing it up? Well, if you try hard enough and put in superlative effort, then you get the B-37 Veg Burger. The patty is a standard potato patty but is flavorsome enough thanks to the generous use of Indian spices, especially chaat masala, to carry enough heft to pull this burger off.

The French beans, the carrot and peas are enough to create a crisp texture in every mouthful. The burger is wholesome, it’s healthy and perhaps the best and freshest you’re likely to get in Noida!

The Burner Sandwich

How can you possibly put anything between two slices of bread and hope to make it drool-worthy, especially if it’s vegetarian? Bistro-37 would know, because in spite of it being a vegetarian sandwich, the Burner is the hottest selling item on their list!

And hot it is, literally. Served simply on a bed of white bread, it is cottage cheese marinated with an infusion of green chilli paste, ginger, garlic and black pepper to create a vibrant punch of flavors in every single bite. It’s such a spicy sandwich with a lush abundance of green chillies that it actually ends up even looking invitingly green in colour, pure heaven for aficionados of feisty heat in their food. It’s one of those things that you must try simply because it’s well on its way to becoming an enduring classic!

Tempted enough? Come on over already!
