Way To Go Delhi! DU Will Reserve Seats For Acid Attack Survivors, Mental Illnesses & Other Conditions

Delhi University just ticked off two more boxes in their good deeds bracket as they’re now reserving seats for acid attack survivors as well as physically disabled aspirants as well! Good going DU! 

The university has decided to expand their list and to include individuals with physical disability, intellectual disability, mental illness, disability caused due to chronic neurological conditions and blood disorders! 

Simply because everyone does deserve a chance, Delhi University is doing it’s good deed and we’re super happy to read this. 

The move comes after the university adopted the revised Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. The law gives not less than 5% reservation to students with disabilities taking admissions in institutes of higher education.
