As if the stifling hot sun and the stuffy weather weren’t enough to keep us bound to our homes, a recent development in the world of cab-hailing has made our resolve to go out pretty shaky… Wanna find out what we’re talking about? Read on!

Cab Rides Become Pricier! | In a move that makes us pout, our fave cab-hailing service Uber India has hiked trip fares by 12 per cent in Delhi-NCR amid a recent spike in fuel rates. Well, the move comes in response to the rising fuel prices and is aimed at cushioning the drivers from the impact of this fuel price hike. The move came after auto and cab drivers staged protests in Delhi demanding subsidies on CNG prices, which, after being increased for the 10th time this month, are now priced at Rs 69.11 per kg, which is Rs 13.1 higher than March 7! *Welp*

A price hike is never good news (unless you’re talking about our salaries), and it is seriously making us rethink all those plans we’ve made already. What are your thoughts on this development? Let us know in the comments below!
