Uber Finally Launches BikeShare In Delhi & The Base Fare Is Just 5 Bucks!

Delhi peeps, do you remember how stressful travelling was before Uber came into the picture? With the launch of Uber in India, commuting in the city became easier, convenient and pocket-friendly. You may have a love or hate relationship with Uber, but one cannot deny that Uber has made our lives much easier. Now, Uber is launching BikeShare in the Capital and it is going to save you a lot of money! And we’re here to tell you guys all about it.

Save Money & The Environment | Uber finally launches BikeShare in the city, even though the Delhi government’s permission is still awaited for Bike Taxi. We’re elated that we can cut down travel time and cost with this plan. In BikeShare, you can ride with another bike rider goin’ the same route. The base fare for BikeShare is Rs 9 per 2.5 km, and ANY ride to the nearest metro station will only cost you 5 bucks (Yayy!). 

A super affordable initiative, BikeShare will also help cut down the traffic (exactly what Delhi needs!). It is also way cheaper than Uber’s BikeTaxi service, where the base fare starts at Rs 20 (in other cities).
