Tyre Killers Will Be Installed At 5 Spots In Noida To Discourage Driving On The Wrong Side

Driving on the wrong side of the road is a very common problem that we see in Delhi and guess what? The government has a great solution up their sleeves and we’re impressed. Read on to find out what’s up! 

What’s Happening? | The Noida Government has identified five spots in the city where it will install tyre killers in order to discourage driving on the wrong side of the road. First, there will be a trial run, wherein these tyre killers will be installed at Sectors 76 and 74. 

Once the trial run is over and successful, these tyre killers will then be installed at Sector 77, North Eye Junction, Hoshiarpur U-Turn, Sai Temple U-Turn and near the Sector 75 Metro Station. These tyre killers are basically metal strips with sharp spikes on one side, which means that for people travelling on the correct side of the road, these will act as a small bump like a speed breaker, but the spikes will puncture the tyres of the vehicles coming from the wrong side. 

We really are impressed with this smart move by the Noida Government to reduce the problem of wrong side driving in the city!
