Listen up Noida walon! We just heard about a strict new rule set to apply to all two-wheeler drivers in the city!

No Helmet, No Fuel! | We just heard that the district administration has taken a major step towards road safety wherein two-wheeler riders won’t be able to refuel their vehicle tanks if they’re not wearing a helmet from Saturday, the 1st of June. This kickass initiative will cover all the fuel stations across Noida and Greater Noida and will later be extended to the ones in rural areas of Gautam Budh Nagar - nice!

Basically, once this order is implemented, if a driver reaches the station without wearing a helmet, such driver will be liable to legal action including suspension of the driving license and such transgression might even lead to an arrest, in case the driver misbehaves with the petrol pump staff.

The district administration has also called for the fuel station owners to install good quality CCTV cameras, as this will help in tracking down those who create a ruckus.

This definitely sounds like a great move to ensure greater road safety!
