Transport Dept. Has Launched An App That Lets You Book Bus Seats, Apply For Driver's License & More

Good news Delhizens! Figuring out details about the services offered by the Transport Department can be a nightmare for us peeps, right? But not anymore as now we’ve got an app to sort everything out! Check it out.

What’s The App About? | Delhi’s Transport Department has launched this really useful app called Delhi Transport, where you can find out everything related to transport, from driving licence procedures, timings of inter-state bus terminals, training material for your learner’s license, apply and bid for fancy numbers for your vehicles, book tickets for buses, transfer vehicle ownership and much more!

Another useful feature of this app is that it has something called ‘Local Trip Planner’ that provides you all the info that you need about public transport buses available, along with the distance, fare and expected time of the trip. You can also get your seats booked via the app. That’s so cool, isn’t it?

The app directs users to the Parivahan website of the ministry of road transport and highways. Also, people can download a seperate application called Auto-Taxi Safety App, for filing complaints against auto rickshaws and taxis. All you have to do is provide the registration number of the vehicle and upload its picture on the app.

The transport department is making our lives a hell of a lot easier with this app and we applaud this move!
