To Enhance Communication Skills, Delhi Metro Employees To Get Spoken English Lessons
Lakhs of people travel by the Delhi Metro daily and a healthy proportion of this are tourists. Thus to make communication easier, Delhi Metro employees will be given lessons in spoken English! Awesome!
The Metro authority is looking for reputed coaching institutes to train them. While communication skills and spoken English are a part of DMRC's training module for all staff members, the corporation feels that’s not yielding the desired results. And this is why they’re introducing a course for the same for all front line employees for sure!
The Metro authority has a manpower of 8,000 personnel, including frontline staff, station controllers, train operators and customer-care executives. The main motive here is to increase positive behaviour of DMRC staff towards riders, which they’re hoping shall happen after this training programme!
Good going DMRC!
