Getting to the New Delhi Railway station isn’t as big of a hassle as getting inside the Ajmeri Gate side entrance is! And keeping this in mind, an all new revamp plan is in the works and by mid-September, we’ll get to see some improvement on this front.

Here’s What’s Happening | Come September and a 30-metre wide road from Bhavbhuti Marg will open directly at the mouth of the station, as the Railway’s approving a plan to unclog the street that’s heavily used by auto rickshaws and taxis.

Currently, the road leading to the station is shaped like an 'S', which further slows down traffic, and makes it impossible for us to get inside the station. For a wider entrance, another lane has been acquired by the Railways, all thanks to which not only will the entrance, but even the road leading to it will also be slightly wider.

In addition, there will also be pickup and drop points for cars at the entrance. Sounds cool to us!
