We just heard about this totally awesome development regarding the upcoming Delhi-Anwar RRTS corridor - here are all the deets you need!
RRTS Will Connect To Delhi Metro, Bus & Railway Station! | So we just found out that the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) will be connected to other modes of transport in Delhi NCR like the metro, bus and railway stations - which is awesome. The upcoming Delhi-Gurugram-SNB (Shahjahanpur-Neemrana-Behror) is the first stage of the 164-km long Delhi-Alwar corridor which is one of 3 prioritised corridors. Did you know that once it’s completed, this corridor is expected to bring down the travel time between Delhi-SNB to just 70 mins? Yep.
The 71-km long stretch will be elevated with 11 stations while the remaining 35-km long section with 5 stations will be underground. The second stage of the corridor will be extended from SNB Urban Complex to Sotanala while the third stage shall lie between SNB Urban Complex and Alwar - cool. The integrations are supposed to happen at various junctions, for instance, Jor Bagh RRTS will connect to DMRC’s Yellow Line and the Munirka station of RRTS will connect to the Magenta Line.
This sounds perfect - way to go!
